On the slide to middle-age spread and obscurity and I have different reasons than Superman for staying anonymous.
Kick Out The Jams is one of the MC5′s finest and is full of righteous anger. Living in Dublin, Ireland and that alone makes me angry and if anger is an energy then I’m going to use it.
Married with a nine year old son who also follows Shamrock Rovers…

Happy New Year, Jox
Hi Jo,

And a really Happy New Year to you too…
Ireland … nice !!!
It is nice, apart from the economy but we won’t talk about that!
the same here in Greece!
We’ll all go down together! At least there is public dissent about the crisis there, over here there is mainly apathy and an acceptance that there is nothing that can be done.
When I first came to Greece, I admired people for standing for their rights, for being so strongly united against woes and apathy. 10 years down the line, I am sick of sleeping and waking up with the news so I can be well infromed when there will be the next strike, which road will be blocked, what time a protest will start and to wonder will I walk home in the dark or will I be able to use the transport like a human being! If you take away the good weather, the sea and the Acropolis Greece will be left with angry and rude people, extremely comfortable to blame everybody else for their own mistakes, if they actually get to work and make their brains to think instead of just complaining and make everyday routine miserable, things might get better, but that’s debatable
! So I don’t know if the public dissent is actually the better solution with the crisis!
Like the whole feel of this piece, from the tackling of plastic to the ennui and effort of the write fine stuff
